Press Release: TrashMail Becomes Aionda Mail – Email Platform with AI Agents and Enterprise Features

Stuttgart, Germany – March 17, 2026 – Aionda GmbH announces the rebranding of its long-standing email service TrashMail.com to Aionda Mail. The new service is now available at mail.aionda.com and introduces AI-powered enterprise features alongside all existing functionality.

Why the Rebrand?

The “TrashMail” name served the service well for many years but increasingly created challenges:

• Brand confusion: Numerous other providers use similar names like “Trash-Mail”, “TrashMail.de”, or “Trash-Mail.com”. A clear brand identity was no longer possible.
• Derogatory connotation: “Trash” implies disposability, which no longer reflects the platform’s capabilities. Aionda Mail is a full-featured email solution for individuals and businesses alike.
• Strategic repositioning: Under the Aionda GmbH umbrella, the service is now positioned as a professional, privacy-compliant email platform with enterprise capabilities.

New Enterprise Features

Employee Management

Organizations can now centrally manage employee mailboxes. Each team member receives their own mailbox with individual permissions and settings.

AI Employees

The centerpiece of the new platform: companies can create AI employees that receive their own mailbox and operate within a secure sandbox environment. Two options are available:

• Hosted AI agents: AI agents operated by Aionda, based on OpenClaw, the leading open-source platform for autonomous AI agents. Any user can add their own OpenClaw instance with just a few clicks.
• External AI integration via MCP: Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), companies can connect their existing AI systems to Aionda Mail. This enables seamless integration of proprietary models or third-party solutions.

AI employees operate in a complete sandbox and can use all features of the original TrashMail service – from anonymous forwarding to complex email rules.

Stripe Integration

Stripe has been integrated as the payment processor, providing access to all common payment methods including credit cards, SEPA direct debit, and additional local payment options.

Migration for Existing Users

Existing TrashMail.com users will be automatically migrated to Aionda Mail. All existing email addresses, forwarding rules, and settings will be preserved. The trashmail.com domain will remain active for the foreseeable future.
